Welcome to the Monte Rio Recreation & Park District, located in Vacation Wonderland on the beautiful Russian River!
Our Administrative Office is open on Monday – Wednesday from 12:00 – 3:00. Please feel free to drop in if you have any questions about the Park District or would like a tour of the facility.

Monte Rio Beach and the upper parking lot are open to the public all year long. The lower parking lot is now gated and closed for the season.
We do not allow amplified sound or alcohol. Whenever you visit, please help us keep our beach and parks trash-free by hauling out whatever you bring in.
Please wear life jackets when on the river. Do not swim and drink and always swim with a companion. River conditions change constantly. Be aware of potentially hazardous conditions, such as drop offs and currents. Swimming west of the bridge (between the bridge and the boat ramp) is not recommended.

Popular Lightwave Coffee & Kitchen at Creekside skate park is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
